We visited Chinatown Cafe 7/28 for lunch at about 12:00 PM. The nearly empty dining area should have been a hint. Food was terrible! It tasted like it had been left out too long. The texture of the food made me think of reheating in the microwave too long. The food temperature was room temperature. The people putting out the food kept piling it up in a pile in the middle of the pan. I told the cook that the food was cold but he just looked at me and smiled. I walked away with an upset stomach from what sampling I did taste We used to go to this cafe regularly but when the business changed hands the process of decline started. As of Tuesday, I believe they have bottomed out. Price was high for the buffet and not readily advertised as it been in the past. Don't waste your time or your money or risk your health.

We have eaten here periodically for years. Today the parking lot was almost empty and now we know why. Very few of the same people still working there. Dishes are not the same they used to be. Salt & pepper shakers are FILTHY and totally DISGUSTING. I chose the cleanest one and wiped it off before the photo. Grilled chicken at the stir fry station sat there the whole time in an unheated, uncooled container - growing salmonella I suppose. 🤢 Its been 6 hours and I'm not sick but won't be chancing that again.

Used to be amazing and has gone so far down hill. I don’t see them staying open much longer. The food is not only old and you can tell stored and reserved but the sodas even suck because they are flat. The salt and pepper shakers should be enough to close the place down. They are sticky and gross and rusty and the salt looks wet and clumped. It’s an actual health hazard

I came in today at about 4:00 on a Tuesday and there were very few people there, which was nice for me because I like it quiet, however I wasn't very happy with my visit. The customer service was good, it's the atmosphere and food I wasn't pleased with. The food wasn't fresh at all. I'm not exaggerating. and there was no ice cream at all, which is what I wanted for dessert. The tables were sticky. My bill was $22 for a buffet and a soda. I honestly could have eaten better food at a fast food restaurant for half the price. I definitely won't be returning here.

This place use to be amazing. They are now under new ownership and the food selection shows it. We will not be coming back until changes are made. The service however was still great, they do what they can with what they have.
